QWERTYUIOP are the top row of  letters on a standard typewriter keyboard.  what is the longest word that can be typed using just those letters?
You may start off with words like QUIRE, PEPPER and TORTURE but you will probably end up with ones longer than these.

Something to Meditate:

Watch your thoughts, they become your words.
Watch your words; they become your actions.
Watch your actions; they become your habits.
Watch your habits; they become your character.
Watch your character for it will become your destiny.
If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
If I am only for myself, what am I?
And if not now, when?

~ Hillel

Exercise:

This activity is taken directly form this month’s book review: The Power of Now (page 15). Tolle uses this exercise as one of the first to begin to live fully in the conscious present.

The good news is that you can free yourself from you mind. This is the only true liberation. You can take the first step right now. Start listening to the voice in your head as often as you can. Pay particular attention to any repetitive thought patterns, those old gramophone records that have been playing in you head perhaps for many years . . . When you listen to that voice, listen to it impartially. That is to say, do not judge. Do not judge or condemn what you hear, for ding so would mean that the same vice has come in again through the back door.

Articles and Links for the Month:

Sometimes it is a great web site and sometimes just a one page article.  So here are some resources to check out:

  • NetWorlding is about building a lifetime network of mutually beneficial relationships with socially responsible, like-minded and like-valued individuals.
  • I wasn't sure were to put this link, but here is a great coaching site on all sorts of self improvement topics.
