QUOTES:
Most people are mirrors, reflecting
the moods and emotions of the times; few are windows,
bringing light to bear on the dark corners where
troubles fester. The whole purpose of education is to
turn mirrors into windows.

What you have to do and the way you
have to do it is incredibly
simple. Whether you are willing to do it, that's another
matter.

Imagine:
To tap
into both our imagination and step back and look at things from a
greater perspective, take some time to answer the following
question. You can use this activity in a group setting to open
up discussions as well.
The most successful summer
replacement this year on American television is the show
"Survivor" and more of these reality shows are
planned. Each is based on a simple premise - survival of the
fittest, smartest or sneakiest. Although I confess that
I have not watched it, I can help but be reminded of "Lord of
the Flies". Sorry, I am not interested. Try to come
up with an interesting and exciting show where the ultimate success
is based on building community and support for one another.
Tip for the Month:
Write down the following question and put it somewhere where
you will see it often: "How might I achieve this with greater joy and
ease?" (whatever "this" is for you...improving your fitness, raising your
income, finding a new job, etc.) Think about it, journal about it, talk
about it with a friend. I have seen how beneficial this simple question
can be...and believe me...it's worth asking.
